Right, first things first: after making the decision that we won’t be able to go to Ireland next season, we have now finalised our schedule of the places we will be visiting. We have decided, after a lot of umming & ahing (as is usual with route planning) to stick to all our (thats mine & Neil’s) favourite canals. We are privledged to have seen almost all the canals that we can fit Snipe and Taurus on now, so wehave a goood idea of which bits are the best, for rural countryside, or stunning industrial heritage - at least in our opinion!

Oh and what with the Olympics going to London in 2012, we though we would go too, we’ve booked a mooring in Little Venice, in central london (close to Hyde Park) for the duration of the 2012 games, we will be offering Bed & Breakfast with optional evening meal, and we will be the ONLY hotel boat in the city – an exciting oportunity to spread the word about hotel boating for us!
